Most sessions are 55-60 minutes long. Sessions can be shorter (30-45 minutes) if needed. Many clients start with weekly sessions, to help build momentum and trust early on. As you make progress, we may shift to every-other week or less often, depending on your needs.

Getting started is simple. Reach out through the contact form to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation. On that call, you can share a bit about what’s bringing you in, ask any questions, and see whether we feel like a good fit. If we decide to move forward, I’ll send intake paperwork through my secure client portal to complete before our first appointment.
Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what’s going on right now, your history, what you’ve tried, and what you’d like to be different. I’ll also review confidentiality and how your information is protected, and you’re always welcome to ask questions about me or how I work. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. By the end of the session, we’ll begin shaping a plan for our work together that fits your goals and your pace.

If you’re using insurance, your cost will depend on your specific plan. I encourage you to call the number on the back of your insurance card, to ask about your outpatient mental health benefits, prior to your first appointment. Please see the “Fees” section for details on which insurance plans I am in-network with.
For clients paying out-of-pocket, please see “Fees” section for more details
